A message from Xavier Neil
I am so lucky I got to meet Amber Hughes. I wish I knew her before she got sick as she loved surfing and getting up to mischief!
Her family are the most beautiful people and love seeing them when we do. Mum Trish and brother Ty ran with us through @charliesrun4kids_ and sister Rach and Dad Stu were in the support crew.
Brain cancers like DIPG are usually very aggressive and sadly don’t often have positive outcomes. Unfortunately we have lost quite a few beautiful friends to brain cancer 🦋
I wanted to do a run of beanies this Winter so asked Joel and Bek of @sportsclique_teamwear and @_studionice to help me again.
In honour of my friend Amber we will have these available week beginning 22nd May available to pre order now.
100% of the profits will be donated to RUNDIPG which helps the awesome @matty_dun and team with their research into treatment.

Good X Karma
Inspired Traders is a proud stockist for Good X Karma products. The story behind this business is one of inspiration, tenacity and heart.
My name is Xav and I am from Newcastle. In 2019 my dad suggested that I undertake my first fundraiser. It was called SurFebruary where you surf every day in February to raise funds for the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse (See below for details on COBLH)
I had so much support from Newcastle and raised over $12,000 towards a great cause. Strangers were coming up to me at the beach each morning telling me how proud they were for what I was doing and it made me feel warm inside. It inspired me to want to do more!
My mum and I had been making some hand crafted soap and lip balms on weekends. We came up with the idea of making more and selling them with all profits going towards helping people with cancer. Through SurFebruary I got to meet some pretty special people that were a part of COBLH as well some people who were treated there that are now cancer-free.
I learnt through Surfebruary that it will take a lot of money and research to cure cancer and my little project is my way of raising a little bit ongoing to try and help. Outside of the costs of making the hand crafted soaps and lip balms Good X Karma will donate all profits to COBLH or chosen cancer charity.
I know that this amount may not be much but the products we are making are made with love and with the aim of making a difference in some small way. I hope when you use these awesome products or if you gift them to someone you love that you feel the Good Karma. We are helping to create a little more awareness that no matter how little, we can all do something to help people living with cancer.
